SENATE BILL NO. 289 An Act establishing and relating to the                    
Alaska Board of Technical and Vocational Education; and providing              
for an effective date which had been held in second reading (page              
2931) was before the Senate.                                                   
                                                                               
Senator Torgerson, Cochair, moved and asked unanimous consent for              
the adoption of the Finance Committee Substitute offered on page               
2870. Without objection, CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 289(FIN)                       
An Act relating to technical and vocational education and to                   
employment assistance and training; and providing for an effective             
date was adopted and read the second time.
